Lincoln University lockdown lifted

JEFFERSON CITY -A person wanted in connection with an incident at a Lincoln University residence hall Wednesday night was taken into custody.

Lincoln administrators put the campus on lockdown shortly before 9 a.m. today, after Reginald Jennings was believed to be driving near the school.

Wednesday night, LU police responded to an altercation in Dawson Hall. As a result of the altercation, a threat involving a weapon was made. While the threat appeared to be specifically targeted, Jennings was barred from campus.

At 9:10 a.m. today, Jennings was taken into custody and the lockdown was lifted.
