Buchanan County R-IV School District bond passes in August special election

(RUSHVILLE, Mo.) Following a ballot issue in the April election, the Buchanan County R-IV School District had to re-run its bond issue Tuesday.

The bond passed with 91.98% (218 votes) of the vote.

In June, school officials announced the $2 million bond had to be put back on the ballot in August because of a clerical error.

The Buchanan County Clerk's Office issued a statement on the notification not being originally submitted, but paid for the August 5th election with Election Services Funds.
