Was anybody else at the state Capitol today?

I just got back a little while ago, just long enough to quaff a root beer (all I had in the house I could spare...) to observe (I won't say "celebrate" ) the grim reaper's harvest today.

I'm guessing there were 2,000 people there today to protest the repuglikan vote-stealing ploys. It was a raucous, but orderly, group that overflowed the Capitol rotunda. Lots of good signs, and all of us were pretty much of one mind against the GOPee's power-grabbing vote-stealing. It was a beautiful sight to see, but with the bought-and-paid-for rotten apples in the legislature, I hold little hope that it will do any good. But maybe--We'll remember in November......
