A Heads Up to KC Residents - Especially in Waldo

Just wanted to give KC folks a heads up that there have been a string of attempted and successful car thefts in the Waldo area. I walked out my front door on it happening to my partner's car. Luckily I think I scared them off, but the cop I talked to said that it has happened several times over the last couple of days. This was in broad daylight. They first knocked on my door to see if I was home. I don't usually answer the door when I am not expecting anyone. But my dogs were going so crazy that I decided to let them out and that's when I saw them. I work from home, so I was lucky to be there, but not everyone is so lucky. So please be alert!
