Missoula County mails ballots for June 2 primary election to 63,300 voters

MISSOULA, Mont. — The Missoula County Elections Office said ballots have been mailed out to 63,300 active voters who are registered to vote absentee for the federal primary election on Tuesday, June 2.

Voters who do not receive ballots by mail can vote in person at polling places on June 2.

County officials explained that Montana voters are not required to list a party when they register. Because of that, each voter received three ballots for the Democratic, Libertarian and Republican parties.

Voters must pick just one ballot, put it in the secrecy envelope and then in the return envelope. The return envelope must include a signature and birth year.
