NE-SEN: Challenger Dan Osborn opens campaign HQ in North Platte

When Dan Osborn speaks these days, he talks about things people agree on.

Osborn, hoping to upset incumbent Deb Fischer in a race for the Senate, says everyone agrees on the importance of health care and that the border needs to be secure.

“The amount of agreement on the issues gives me a lot of hope. We agree on issues. We agree that we need to find solutions, although we might disagree what are the best solutions,” he said in North Platte on Oct. 13 at the opening of a campaign headquarters at 1108 Rodeo Road.

Speaking to about 35 supporters, Osborn said the real troubles don’t come from Republican or Democrats per se.

“The multi-national corporations continue to divide us, to hammer on the wedge issues,” he said.
