Carson City, Nevada residents excited about voting in election

All eyes will be on Nevada on Election Day next week. The voters there could have a big say in who wins the Presidential election.

"We take our elections seriously," said Carson City resident Kelly Clark.

Carson City has roughly 60,000 residents. Early voting started last week and the energy is at an all-time high.

"I think Nevada is right there as a swing state so every vote matters," said Carson City Mayor Lori Bagwell.

to keep on seeing about the states where the votes matter? I live in the bluest part of a very blue state, and it feels like no one gives a flying fuck about us, and why the hell should I vote?

Oh, I do vote. I always do. I always did when I lived in a red state, mainly because I wanted the Republicans to win by just one less vote than they otherwise would.

But honestly, it would be nice to be appreciated.

It's nice that it's so blue, which is precisely why I moved here from Kansas some 15 years ago.
