CLARK COUNTY DA STEVE WOLFSON (D) ANNOUNCES BID FOR RE-ELECTION IN 2026

Steve Wolfson, Clark County's long-time leading prosecutor, has declared his intention to stay the course, seeking re-election in 2026 for a position he has held since 2012.

As reported by News 3 Las Vegas, Wolfson, with over four decades of legal service behind him, stepped into the electoral ring once again, reminiscing about his start in the office.

"Forty-five years ago, today, I walked into the District Attorney's office as a young law clerk, never imagining that one day I would lead this institution," and he added with clear resolve, "Today, it is the honor of my life to serve as your District Attorney, and I am proud to officially announce that I am running for re-election."

Under Wolfson's tenure, the Clark County DA's office has been a hive of prosecutorial activity; it is responsible for the oversight of nearly 800 employees who manage about 140,000 cases each year.
