N.J. which town got 6.5 inches in torrential storms

Slow-moving thunderstorms unleashed heavy rain and flooding on parts of New Jersey on Monday night with Somerset, Middlesex and Union counties recording the highest rainfall totals.

Watchung topped the list at 6.51 inches. Edison got 5.35 inches of rain with Mountainside close behind at 5.34 inches.

Also, two women died in the floods.

Problem is there is so much development on that Mountain - that from Greenbrook to Scoth Plains it floods with only 2 inches of rain.

We really had nothing in Hunterdon County.
