Solomon (D) has over $1.2 million banked for Jersey City mayoral bid

Jersey City mayoral candidate James Solomon and his team have raised nearly $1.6 million, following a $397,773 total haul during April, May, and June, with $1,228.239 in cash on hand.

Solomon, a two-term city councilman, raised $1,039,691 and his joint ticket account brought in $545,422.

“1,400 unique Jersey City donors tell the whole story – Jersey City is hungry for change, and people know only James Solomon can deliver it,” said Solomon’s campaign manager, Stuart Thomas. “We have all the momentum in the race because there’s only one candidate who will tackle the affordability crisis, fight corruption, and take on greedy landlords, and that’s James Solomon.”

Hudson County Commissioner Bill O’Dea has $603,031 in the bank after raising $47,350 in the second quarter of this year and a total of $823,701.
