We applied for the "Stay New Jersey" property tax break.

It's designed to keep senior New Jerseyans in their homes.

It was incredibly complicated to apply. I can't imagine that it would be easy for a person facing minor intellectual impairment or without access to all kinds of electronic systems. It would, in fact, be impossible without a cell phone. There may still be people without cell phones, elderly people included.

I wouldn't have gotten through it without my wife's highly organized filing systems.
