Khairullah wins Dem primary in Prospect Park
Prospect Park Mayor Mohammed Khairullah has won the Democratic nomination for another term.
Khairullah defeated Councilman Robert Artis, 498-356 votes, a 58%-42% margin.
His win came two years after he challenged iconic Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-Paterson) in the Democratic primary.
Prospect Park is a solidly Democratic town; Mikie Sherrill carried it by 56 points last year.
