Money isn’t everything. But it pays for a lot of important things, especially in the last few weeks of a campaign.

Let’s check in on where the mayoral candidates stand in the cash race.

The latest campaign filings dropped late Friday into Saturday morning, revealing the most recent hauls, but also who crossed the threshold to qualify for public matching funds and to appear in some debates.

As my colleague Greg Smith reported, Council Speaker Adrienne Adams saw a surge in donations that put her in position to likely obtain public money and count as a “leading contender” alongside former Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Comptroller Brad Lander, Assemblymember Zohran Mamdani and state Senator Zellnor Myrie before the June 1 cut.
