Ohio voter registration deadline for May primary election approaching
TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - The deadline to register to vote in Ohio for the May 5 primary election is quickly approaching.
According to the Ohio Secretary of State’s office, the deadline to register to vote is Monday, April 6, 2026.
You can register to vote online at the link here or at your county board of elections office. Those locations will be open until 9 p.m. on April 6.
Early in-person voting and absentee voting by mail begins on Tuesday, April 7. Hours are as follows, as provided by the Secretary of State:
