Cleveland County Election Board to move to newly remodeled facility

Cleveland County Election Board is moving this week into a newly remodeled facility designed to improve election efficiency and accessibility for voters and staff members.

Staff members will move to 641 E. Robinson St, just north of the former building, according to a Monday press release.

“Cleveland County prides itself in having one of the most efficient election processes in the state,” Bryant Rains, Cleveland County Election Board secretary, said in the release. “Our new office will further improve our ability to serve the public during every step of the election process.”

The new facility features upgrades tailored to streamline election operations, the release reads, including a drive-thru back entrance allowing election workers to securely deliver ballot boxes on election night.
