Oklahoma Teen Walks Free After Facing 78 Years For Multiple Rape Charges

Nov 7, 2025, 04:40 PM EST

Scores of outraged protesters on Wednesday gathered outside the Payne County Courts Office in Stillwater, Oklahoma, after local teen Jesse Mack Butler eluded a 78-year prison sentence despite pleading no contest to numerous rape and assault charges.

Instead, it’s community service for him.

“I feel terrible for those young women,” protester Adelyn Smith told 2 News Oklahoma.

“Almost losing your life, having a video being recorded of you almost losing your life and your assaulter being able to just walk with no punishment, a slap on the wrist and 150 hours of community service,” she continued. “That’s just ridiculous.”

Did Jesse Butler's mother or sister make a deal to sleep with the judge. Did the judge get a stuffed envelope. Did they have Polaroids of the judge in compromising positions. Did Ratface Miller make a call on Butler's behalf. Did Dershowitz represent him because he can relate. Does anybody know where Alex Acosta is? Did somebody miss the small print in the penal code that said "except white or rich guilty rapists"?
Or is it me expecting to much justice for victims? Is Oklahoma the free cowboy state of rapists?

Sarcasm is not directed at you LiberalArkie. Thank you for the additional information.

Not only does the judge deserve the publics ire but now that coach and the team will probably suffer consequences for this punks inability to keep his hands off of others. At they very least this punks mother should be encouraging some kind of penal punishment. I promise you he will offend again. Child molesters and rapists have a hard time resisting the temptation to repeat.

They wealthy will spend millions for college stadiums and planes for the college teams. The colleges will spend millions on the coaches.

They are the elites. They can get away with anything.

It's not likely that it would help for his mom to say anything. Oklahoma is number ONE in the nation for spousal abuse, and #5 for rape. That sort of thing is pretty much condoned here, or ignored.

I can't imagine the frustration of living with that fear. I hope the women are packing and fully exercising their 2nd Amendment rights and the right to defend themselves.
Let me guess, the macho Republican men are afraid of what I assume to be the small population of gays and the minorities?

Wonder what kind of strenuous 'community service' he will have to struggle with to teach him a lesson?
