When the announcement was made, my first though was hope. My second was that the picture of Outlaw in her uniform looked a bit weird. And my third was skepticism. I have not heard of Oakland as a place with police policy worth trying to duplicate, but it hadnt been a issue I've put a lot of time into.

Anyone know anything about her? Just found this article, which is not encouraging.
