Voter Turnout Approaches 40% for the November 4, 2025 Special Election

Oregon City, OR – On Wednesday afternoon, voter turnout reached 39.6% for the November 4, 2025 Special Election. As of the unofficial election results release on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 4:32 p.m., Clackamas County Elections had tallied 47,858 ballots.

“Every election is important, especially our local elections,” Clerk Catherine McMullen shared, “Thank you to every eligible voter that chose to use their voice and participate.”

Unofficial election results and the election results release schedule are posted online at clackamas.us/elections. Final official results will be certified Dec. 1.

The November 4, 2025 Special Election is not a county-wide election. Where you live determines what is on your ballot. Only registered voters in the cities of Gladstone, Happy Valley, or Portland; the Sandy Fire District; or the Lake Oswego, Oregon Trail or West Linn – Wilsonville school districts had a special election.
