Ballot drop boxes open ahead of Election Day

BERKS COUNTY, Pa. — Mail-in and absentee ballot drop boxes in Berks County can now be used to cast votes for the upcoming election.

County officials say that more than 20,000 mail-in and absentee ballots were mailed at the beginning of the month.

The ballots can be returned in the mail — or be placed in one of the three ballot drop boxes.

Those are at the Services Center in Reading, the South Campus in Mohnton, and Reading Regional Airport in Bern Township.
