Rally in support of Social Security - TUESDAY SEPT 9th in Newport, RI

We rally to protect SOCIAL SECURITY, and show support for the SSA staff. We rally to bring awareness to the damage being done by DOGE*

For months, we have warned that DOGE was putting our data at risk. Two weeks ago, a whistleblower revealed that DOGE did indeed handle our data carelessly. Our privacy rights were guaranteed by statute when Social Security was signed into law in 1975, and are protected by the Privacy Act of 1974. On Friday that whistleblower resigned from the SSA, due to the treatment he received at the agency, after having "blown the whistle".

We need to demand a high level (white hat) forensic IT audit to track how our data was (mis)handled.

Please stay on the sidewalks, and respect all private property. The plaza where the SSA office is located is private property. We will bring extra signs.
