Aiken gearing up for election season
AIKEN, S.C. — Believe it or not election season will be here before you know it.
4 out of 6 seats on the Aiken City Council are up for grabs. The candidates have filed for the election and now is the time for the primaries.
This week and next is early voting for the republican primary for the District 6 seat, only taking place at the Aiken County Government Center.
Barbara Morgan and Clayton Clarkson are on the ballot- whoever wins will be up against democratic candidate Lisa Smith in November.
