FLOWER MOUND, Texas — Voters in Flower Mound, about 25 miles northeast of Fort Worth, weighed in on a $112 million bond package for park and recreational facilities and street improvements across the town.

The first bond proposition on the ballot in Flower Mound calls for $82 million for parks and recreational facilities, including trail systems, parks and sports fields and the expansion of the Community Activity Center. The parks and recreation facilities include the second phase of Twin Coves Park, Leonard & Helen Johns Community Park, Prairie Trail Park, trail projects and more.

The second proposition called for $30 million for street improvement projects across the town over the next five years.
