Related: About this forumAny marches in Texas? I was in Belton. We had a great crowd.
Funny thing to me was we did not march but walked around the town square and got lots of positive road interaction, even from big rigs and a couple of fire engines.

(1,566 posts)SAN ANTONIO - Protests across the area have seen hundreds of local residents speak out on a variety of local and national issues.
On Saturday, hundreds took to the streets across San Antonio and surrounding cities, with protests popping up in Boerne, Schertz, and Cibolo, in addition to a large gathering slated to take place at Travis Park.

(15,564 posts)When I walked up to the group in Belton this morning, I had tears in my eyes thinking about the people that were there to help out country. Made me so very proud.

(23,310 posts)Signs, lots of great ones; a conga line which snaked through the park a few times, cars passing by and honking along with our chants, dogs, babies in strollers, Handmaids. Our demonstrations are always loads of fun.
We filled the park (Burk Burnett in downtown Fort Worth for those who know the city) .
Because we were under trees, there are no good overhead shots of our crowd, but I'll take the shade!! We did not march in the No Kings portion of our day, which began at noon. However, the March of Dissent was held at 10 am; the last picture in this article shows it.
You can click on Arlington to see their march. With Arlington and Ft Worth combined we had 2500 to 3000 at the largest demonstrations in Tarrant County.
