I read last night that Rep James Talarico will announce a US Senate run this week

I sincerely hope the wide national following he has developed will earn him donations from all over the country. He is really gaining lots of attention. I would love to send him to the Senate.

I read somewhere that he had said he would leave politics if he were assigned as a pastor somewhere. I do not know if that is true; it has been interpreted that it means he would leave the position. I think he means he would not run for another term.
Of course, Senator Reverend Doctor Raphael Warnock could have a nice sitdown with him about doing both at the same time.
