JUST IN: Winter Weather Advisory issued for Arlington

Snow Thursday morning could lead to slippery conditions, forecasters say. ... A Winter Weather Advisory was just issued for Arlington and much of the D.C. area. Only an inch of snow is expected, but it could lead to hazardous driving on local roads.

Forecasters are also warning about the possibility of accumulating snow during the evening commute today (Wednesday).

Local and state-maintained roads have already been pre-treated with brine lines by Arlington County and VDOT crews, in anticipation of the wintry weather.

It was snowing there then.

Looking out the window of my delightful return-to-the-office in beautiful downtown DC: it's barely flurrying.

Note to Walleye: you might be too far north for this. The action seems to be to the south of DC.
