Virginia Beach Voter Registration Office moves to enhance access for upcoming elections

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The Virginia Beach Office of Voter Registration & Elections is relocating to a new office at 500 Studio Drive, just off Independence Boulevard near Mount Trashmore Park.

To accommodate the move, the office will close to the public at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, and remain closed Thursday and Friday, Feb. 19 and 20. It will reopen Monday, Feb. 23, at the new location.

Virginia Beach Director of Elections Christine Lewis said the purpose-designed facility will improve access for voters, especially during election season, including those voting curbside, early in person or by mail. The move will also allow the office to securely consolidate voting equipment and ballots.

Phone numbers and email addresses will remain the same.
