I voted today yes on the Virginia referendum for temporary redistricting.

I voted in person absentee. It's early voting in everything but name only.

No wait. In and out in about ten minutes, but the total time to drive round trip, park and vote was just over an hour. I parked away from the Yes and No proponents in an area they are not allowed and had no dealings with them. I wasn't in the mood to hear it. I found all the staff at the polling place friendly and ready to exchange pleasantries.
