Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell's lead grows slightly over challenger Katie Wilson in second batch of results

Incumbent Mayor Bruce Harrell’s lead has grown slightly over community organizer Katie Wilson in the Seattle mayoral race.

According to the second drop of results Wednesday, Harrell has 53.8% of the vote (73,883 votes), compared to Wilson at 45.6% (62,700 votes).

In Tuesday’s initial results, Harrell garnered 53.3% of the vote (62,086 votes) and Wilson earned 46.1% of the vote (53,767 votes).

Harrell is seeking to become the first re-elected mayor for Seattle since Greg Nickels in 2009.
