Hoffman leads over Redmon in Snohomish mayor race
EVERETT Aaron Hoffman is leading slightly in the Snohomish mayor race over incumbent Linda Redmon, and Anup Deol leads incumbent Karen Guzak for the Position 7 seat on the City Council, early results showed.

Chief financial officer and business owner Aaron Hoffman had a slight lead in the mayoral race in Snohomish over incumbent Linda Redmon, early results on Tuesday indicated.
Hoffman led with 51.9% of the vote. He owns Snohomishs Sprig Beauty Co. with his wife and is the chief financial officer of Shelford Fisheries, based out of Mill Creek. His main priorities include finding a more cost-effective solution for the city campus, improving permitting processes, and community outreach, he said in an email in October.
Redmon received 48% of the vote. She was elected mayor in 2021 after serving one term on the Snohomish City Council. She owns Redmon Psychological Services with her husband. Her main priorities include addressing the 100-year-old city infrastructure, public safety and continuing to improve communication with the public, she told The Herald in October.
