Pack wins re-election as Ronceverte Mayor, White and Bergman join city council
After months of campaigning in a four-way mayoral election, Deena Pack was elected to a second term by Ronceverte voters.
Turnout increased by more than 20 percent in the 2025 municipal election as compared to 2021 with approximately 260 voters casting a ballot. Lee Dean from the WV Secretary of States office was in town Monday for the election in addition to a team of poll workers from across Greenbrier County. Polls were open from 630 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., after several weeks of early voting, and results were announced around 9:30 p.m.
Pack received 88 votes, David Withrow received 77 votes, Shawn Honaker received 48 votes, and Kim Erskine received 42 votes.
Mayor Pack shared the following statement with RealWV: I am so pleased that the citizens of Ronceverte came out yesterday in higher numbers than the 2021 mayoral election to cast their votes for mayor and city council. I am humbled that these citizens have entrusted me with another four years of service, and I look forward to working with the new members of council, as well as the current council, to continue looking for ways to improve our beloved city. Ronceverte has so many people rolling up their sleeves and putting in hard work to create positive change, and we can achieve so much when we set aside differences and focus on our future.
