Mayor Dinky broke the law by taking the drop box. All election-related activities are under the purview of the municipal clerk.
As a poll worker in Wisconsin, I consider what the mayor did is wretched. Kudos to the clerk for handling this well!
These elections are hard enough for the clerks, election officials, and poll workers.
