The grade school and the high school are separate. The shooting happened in the library of the high school, so its likely that the very young did not hear or see anything.

A teacher and the shooter were dead when the police arrived. She apparently killed herself. Another teen died shortly thereafter. There are two teens in critical condition at local hospitals. There are other injured teens but all are expected to recover.

This could be someone who was despondent over a high school breakup...

This is semester finals time.
