No primary election in Milwaukee next week, but crucial election coming in April

Elections are coming up, but for most of the Milwaukee area, they’re not here yet.

The City of Milwaukee is not holding a primary election on Tuesday, Feb. 17, according to the Milwaukee Election Commission.

Election officials are preparing for the spring election on April 7, when voters will decide between candidates for a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors and more.

In Milwaukee, a primary election is not needed ahead of the spring election because no races had more than two candidates qualify to be on the ballot.
