The National AFL-CIO has identified several Congressional Districts across the country as primary goals to win for this year's election and Wisconsin Congressional District 3 is going to be a major focus. U.S. Representative Derrick Van Orden has taken vote after vote as a rubber stamp for the Trump Administration. Van Orden voted for the 'Big Ugly Bill' that, among several awful things, cut funding for many projects using union labor and gave huge tax cuts to the rich.

Later this month we'll be holding a member blitz in Western Wisconsin to get a better read on where union households stand on the state of our country. The aim of these conversations is to take the temperature of the electorate currently. We'll be reaching out on the doors, on the phones, and at the worksite to talk to hundreds of specifically targeted union households. The information we gather during this late April/early May Blitz will be VITAL to helping us later in the year so that we are reaching out to the right folks and turning out voters to give us the best chance at victory in November.

Let us know when you can join. We'll have scripts, training, and lists ready to go. Together, we can take this important first step towards wins this fall; but we can only do that with your help to make it happen.
