I used to live near Cambridge

Nearby, in Madingley, is the Cambridge American Cemetery and Memorial. It is a beautiful, calm place - tended, as is entirely proper, with great love and reverence. Can there be a greater contrast between the young US serviceman who gave their lives to defeat Nazism, and the hate-filled neo-Nazis who are now filling our TV screens? American should not forget what a force for good it once was in the world.

Decades ago (early 90's). We were Americans living in Cambridge for three years. Fond, sweet memories.

Yes, it is a great contrast to what we're seeing and hearing now. Thank you for the reminder.
