Creating decent passwords is indeed a big help. However, nothing (even password protection), can prevent any electronic system from being hacked by a competent hacker. Even banking and money transfer systems have been hacked. The take away is this: Nothing electronic is completely secure and anything connected to the net has the possibility of being hacked into. Just something to take into consideration.
