Update to stupid laptop issues

Ended up having someone wipe it, like really wipe it and install Linux and compatible programs. Using Firefox now. I have a couple of issues from time to time where something wants chrome so I'll just go to the ipad for that.

I don't miss any of the bloatware that was preinstalled on it before!

I use my laptop for very simple things so it's nice to have it running again

He ended up with a Dell linux system, sold and serviced by Dell ( only sold online), and after some questions about substitute programs (Libre Office, Shotwell etc. ) he hasn't asked questions in years.
