OS X Mavericks is ... FAST
First impressions (on a friend's 2011 mac 
) 10.9 brings the sort of speed jump we last saw in Tiger. Geekbench marks are up 18% on the same hardware. Safari 7.0 screams - pages burst onto the screen. Apple are making the Developer Preview 1 available to retail store employee's, so it may be released sooner rather than later. Can't wait.
