Copilot in Word for Mac

I want it to go away. The directions in "help" don't work. Has anyone successfully told Copilot to butt out?

1. is thats the same copilot found in windows it can be uninstalled. search for apple mac copilot uninstall nt

5. when I got win 11 I uninstalled stuff I had no plan to use. its not going to make your computer run poorly tho

but even now when I boot the computer the first screen I see sometimes has a pitch to run that program even though its uninstalled.
