Foushee is longtime elected official, highly regarded. Front runner.

Allam has one year as a county commission. Being Muslim is probably not that helpful. Not sure if the DFA endorsements will help that much.

Aiken has high name recognition, but only a corner of Wake County is in the district.

Primary date is after graduations at all the local universities.
