I think you can guess what state this happened in too.
Despite pulling this dangerous stunt, at least he wasnt texting.
St. Petersburg attorney Heath C. Murphy of the Jones Law Group said the as yet unidentified biker could have been in a heap of trouble had a cop spotted him.
Here's video...

(31,212 posts)At one point I wanted to be an ER doc, like my brother-in-law. He had me observe in the ER for a few weeks to see if I really wanted to commit to medical school and residency, etc.
One night we had a bad motorcycle crash enter the ER, two victims... the driver on the motorcycle (who wrapped his bike around a street light pole) and his passenger.
He wore a helmet...but since he was giving her a ride home from a party... she didn't have a helmet. He "walked" away with bruises, a broken arm, cracked ribs...
She died at the ER from a massive head contusion.
She was 18.
I don't think he faced any liability for this as helmets were not required at that time. I hope it haunted him for the rest of his life.

Heck, wearing a helmet while riding a bicycle is a Very Good Idea.

Lawn mowers are still "no helmet needed" and is the occasional golf cart ride. LOL

(55,555 posts)i've only seen him on clear days and he looks to see no car (or cop) is particularly close, then he does a wheelie.
this is on my commute home, so plenty of traffic, he just feels the need for a couple car lengths distance....
shirt, but no helmet.

(4,516 posts)cant happen. Also bikes are top heavy. One slight lean to either side and he goes over. There is no way he can lean into a curve.
I dont buy that video. I have been riding for over 30 years.
