USA Facing Empty Shelves - Joe Blogs

In this video I talk about the impact of the recent tariff increases announced by Donald Trump on both the USA and Global Economies. The tariffs are set to earn the USA billions of dollars in income however they will also send the price of imports soaring and are likely to result in rising inflation. Companies in the USA such as Walmart have announced that they have put orders from countries such as Bangladesh on hold due to the new 35% tariffs however as 98% of the USA's clothing is imported this raises the prosect of empty shelves and shortages. All of these factors are likely to have a detrimental impact on the USA Economy and also the Global Economy as the USA is the single largest export market for many countries.
