Chicago: Initial construction for new State, Lake elevated CTA station to cause some Loop lane closures

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Work is ramping up on a new CTA train station at State and Lake streets in the Loop.

The early phase of construction will not affect service at the current station.

But lanes will be closed on Lake Street.

Lake from Dearborn Street to Wabash Avenue will be reduced to one lane.

Then next week, State Street lanes will be shut down. ...................(more)
