(Warning: Graphic Violence) Sign: "Justice for Cats Bashed and Mutilated by Suspected Serial Cat Killer"

Cats are being killed - their body parts cut off - in a disturbing pattern that has emerged in Sliema, Malta, and nearby communities, where a minimum of seven cats have been found dead since May.
Several others have suffered injuries or disappeared, according to Times of Malta.

The victims' injuries were strikingly consistent -- with tongues cut out, faces badly wounded, and tails partially severed.
In one case, a man was caught on camera slamming a feline against the road at night, then leaving her in the street to die.

So far, no one has been identified or charged in relation to the attacks.

These horrific acts are deliberate and sadistic, and whoever is behind them must be stopped before another innocent life is taken.

Sign our petition urging the Malta Police Force to investigate this case thoroughly to locate those responsible and hold them accountable.

Is it possible to, in the title, just say "trigger warning"? I read the title unintentionally, then quickly scrolled past the contents so I would not read any of it but I could post a reply.

There is at least one other member on DU like me - extremely sensitive to details of animal or human torture. It literally makes us ill for days. Can't get it out of our heads, ruminating over what they suffered helplessly. It's awful, it's an affliction, but it's real.

I do hope the psychos are brought to justice.
