Iran Strikes Back as US Plans to Join War

The only roles I see for the US are intercepting some of the crap flying Israel's way and keeping the Persian Gulf open to shipping.

I do agree with Broe that King Blab was kept out of the loop for obvious reasons. I"d probably close the window to 2 hours or less lead time, not enough time to get a panicky phone call to his good buddy Putin and certainly way less time it would have taken for Putin to warn the Iranians.
