Britain thrown into 'full-blown' economic crisis by Trump Iran war

Britain was plunged into a “full-blown” economic crisis in an Iran war “Monday Meltdown”.

Panic erupted as the price of oil sky-rocketed above $100 (£75) a barrel sparking sharp falls in stock markets.

As Donald Trump faced a growing backlash against his war, he posted on Truth Social: “Short term oil prices, which will drop rapidly when the destruction of the Iran nuclear threat is over, is a very small price to pay for U.S.A., and World, Safety and Peace.”

But western governments have been caught by surprise by Tehran’s response’s to US and Israeli airstrikes, unleashing a wave of missile and drone attacks on Gulf countries and effectively almost closing the Strait of Hormuz, a vital artery for world oil trade.
