Russia's oil war poisons everything Eastern Express TVP WORLD



Russia’s war against Ukraine is leaving an environmental legacy that stretches far beyond the battlefield. Recent strikes on oil facilities in Moscow and Tuapse have produced enormous fires, coastal pollution, toxic smoke, and reports of black rain.

Along the Black Sea, the consequences of the Kerch Strait mazut spill continue as Russia pushes ahead with another tourist season. Researchers estimate that the invasion generated more than 311 million tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions during its first four years.
