"Irish president urges UN to intervene in Gaza, citing 'destruction of an entire people"

This is the headline from an article from Middle East Monitor dated 08/04/25. Higgins is calling on the UN to use it's powers under Chapter 7 to bypass the Security Council and order direct action including the use of force. No need to worry because it won't happen despite the fact that it should have been done decades ago for purposes of imposing a resolution of matters on parties involved that time after time and decade after decade seem to negotiate their way to failure as a regular course of conduct.

But at least by Higgins calling out the UN having the ability under Chapter 7 it removes their flimsy excuse that their "hands are tied" etc.

Be careful. There some here who believe denying it is just the same as admitting it. marble falls Aug 10 #3
