Israel is in talks to possibly resettle Palestinians from Gaza in South Sudan

TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) — Israel is in discussions with South Sudan about the possibility of resettling Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to the war-torn East African country, part of a wider effort by Israel to facilitate mass emigration from the territory left in ruins by its 22-month offensive against Hamas.

Six people familiar with the matter confirmed the talks to The Associated Press. It’s unclear how far the talks have advanced, but if implemented, the plans would amount to transferring people from one war-ravaged land at risk of famine to another, and raise human rights concerns.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he wants to realize U.S. President Donald Trump’s vision of relocating much of Gaza’s population through what Netanyahu refers to as “voluntary migration.” Israel has floated similar resettlement proposals with other African nations.

“I think that the right thing to do, even according to the laws of war as I know them, is to allow the population to leave, and then you go in with all your might against the enemy who remains there,” Netanyahu said Tuesday in an interview with i24, and Israeli TV station. He did not make reference to South Sudan.

that, it doesn't seem fair that those who left and then came back and forced an expulsion of the Palestinians nearly eight decades ago, are now planing another expulsion of the Palestinians who never left.

… housing Palestinians in refugee camps. Bibi figures that they will die from malnutrition and disease FAR Away from cameras and reporters.

STOP all trade and military aid with ISRAEL Now. The world has implored Israel to find a path to peace. As the more powerful and richer state versus Palestine they have the Moral responsibility to help stabilize the MidEast. Yes, I know the area is a powder keg and I know the history, But we must keep trying for a peaceful solution. Always.

Violence begets Violence .
Peace For All! Peace Now!

As I am worried for the Palestinians , I am also worried about the Israeli people. Sometime in the future…they may experience retaliation for the behavior of Bibi the Butcher. I know that many Israelis want peace and I join them in prayer and hope.

May all people be surrounded by loving-kindness !

Israel has turned into a rogue nation and is no longer a friend or ally to the USA. We are all complicit and are also vulnerable to retribution for funding Israel now.

➡️Note: I am not antisemitic and I have always supported Israel’s right to exist. I wish peace for all people in the MidEast.
I respect all faiths and spiritual traditions.

This is not bashing Dems. I continue to support and vote for Dems. We just need to press them to stand up against brutality and children starving.

4. How nice of Israel to take people from their own war-torn land and send them to a foreign war-torn country.

I mean there's only 7.7 million people in South Sudan facing acute food shortages, what's another 2 million starving people?
