It is clear that Israel is paving the ground for an attack on the flotilla. World public opinion needs to mobilize against Israels next war crime. Now!

Evidence posted over the weekend online appears to show that tech giant Google has allowed the government of Israel to purchase sponsored content spots so that online users searching on the Global Sumud Flotilla will be shown inaccurate, propagandized content accusing the flotilla particpants as being allied with violent, terrorist elements.
The Sumud Flotillaa group of international humanitarians and peace activists sailing toward the coast of Gaza with over 40 vessels in its fleet as a way to break the unlawful blockade of life-saving supplies imposed by Israel and its allies amid an ongoing genocidehas no documented connection to any terrorist organization and has made clear repeatedly that it is a completely nonviolent effort by independent groups and individuals who want to see an end to the suffering, starvation, and death taking place in the besieged Palestinian enclave.

(2,846 posts)3. Netanyahu has no conscience...
... I'm betting that he will fire on the flotilla. They already illegally boarded the first ships in international waters, detaining the crew and passengers. He has become a monster, or maybe he's just finally showing his true colors.

Rifts in Gaza flotilla? Greta Thunberg removed from leadership committee
Greta Thunberg was quietly removed from the Global Sumud Flotillas leadership as organizers face internal rifts and communication challenges during their mission to breach the Gaza naval blockade.
Climate activist Greta Thunberg was removed from the Global Sumud Flotillas Steering Committee last week, and the missions spokesperson left the Gaza-bound vessels amid a reorientation of communications priorities.
Thunberg, who joined a previous run of the Israeli naval blockade around Gaza in June with the Madleen, appeared on the GSFs website as part of its leadership committee until at least last Sunday. Il Manifesto, which has a correspondent aboard one of the flotilla vessels, reported on Tuesday that Thunberg was seen dragging her suitcase along a Tunis dock to transfer from the Steering Committee flagship Family to another vessel, the Alma.
We all have a role: mine will not be on the board, but as an organizer and participant, Thunberg told the newspaper.
Il Manifesto detailed that pressure is causing rifts within the organizing committee, allegedly due to disagreements about external communication that focused too much on the flotillas internal affairs and not enough on the situation in Gaza. Last Saturday, flotilla spokesperson Yusuf Omar announced that he would not be continuing with the flotilla but would continue to work with the organizers to raise awareness for the mission.
